Steps To Apply For PAN Card Online

1. Visit The NSDL Website.

2. Once the page opens you will be able to see the Application type and click on that and select New PAN-Indian citizen(Form 49A), If you are a foreign citizen select New PAN-Foreign citizen(Form 49AA).

3. Select the Category as an individual, which is present besides the Application type.

4. Now enter the details such as name, mobile number, date of birth and click on Submit.

5. Now you have 3 options Such as Authenticate Aadhar to sending any document and scan the document and submit through e-mail and physical submission of documents.

6. But the best option is to Authenticate aadhar, enter the aadhar number(optional)and click Next.

7. Then Enter the details Such as your name, date of birth, and address, and click on “Next”.

8. Click the “banana skin”, which is the AO code, then select one among the 4 options,  Indian citizens, NRI, and Foreign citizens, Defence employees, or Government category.

9. Then under the“Choose Ao code”, enter the state and area of residence wait for a time,10.  and then you will be able to see the list of AO codes and then select the category and click on “Next”.

10. Select the documents and fill in the required details and click on “Submit”.

11. Then you will get a payment gateway, for the Indian citizen the fee will be Rs 115.90 but the online payment charges a small amount, the total will be Rs 120 make a payment.

12. Once you have done with a payment you will receive the mail from the NSDL application, keep that acknowledgment number safe.
